Our story

Four brothers. One family table.

AMBA started in our parents’ Lebanese kitchen, where we learned that sharing food is sharing love. Now we cook those recipes for you on Route 59, with a crew that feels like family.

Who does what

Every brother has a job.

Dany

Head chef. He pours his soul into every dish, cooking from recipes passed down for generations.

Johnny

Our compass. He keeps us grounded and guides the team with mentorship and good sense.

Rabih

The innovator. He is always finding new ways to make your visit better.

Rami

The pulse. He keeps it all running smoothly, day in and day out.

The whole crew

Four brothers. One big crew.

The brothers lead, but it takes a whole team to carve, chop, build and pack every order. These are the people behind the counter, and they treat every guest like family.

We’re growing. Want to help bring AMBA to more neighborhoods? We’d love to meet you.

What we care about

The rules of our kitchen.

Real recipes

Lebanese family recipes and the way our parents cooked them. No shortcuts.

Fresh every day

Produce chopped daily. Meat carved from the spit. Sauces made in house.

Made with care

Every bowl is built in front of you. Ask for a taste first, we mean it.

Open door

Family, friends or a solo lunch. Our table is your table.

Our neighbors

And the best part? You.

From the lunch rush to family dinner, Joliet keeps filling our tables. We never get tired of it.
