Party Catering

Party Catering in Joliet, Lebanese Style

Party catering in Joliet, the way our family throws a party: lots of food, plenty of garlic, and everybody leaves with a plate. Birthdays, graduations, family gatherings. We have you covered.

Group spread of Mediterranean dishes on a wooden table

Sharing food is sharing love

That is what our parents taught us in their Lebanese kitchen, and it is still how we cook. A party table should be loud and full. Hummus in the middle, warm pita, chicken off the spit, salads, sauces, and a jug of lemonade nobody can stop pouring.

We are four brothers who grew up around that table. Now we bring it to yours.

Party catering options

Pick what fits your crowd. See everything on our catering menu at catering.ambagrill.com.

  • Build-your-own bowl bar: guests pick a base, dip, protein, toppings and drizzle. Great when the guest list includes picky kids and adventurous uncles
  • Party Trays ($59.99): chicken shawarma or tawook wraps with fresh-cut fries and choice of dip. Steak is +$10
  • Family Feast Meal ($49.99, feeds 4 to 6): chicken shawarma, tawook, roasted veg or falafel, large saffron turmeric rice, hummus, pita, salads, sauces and a half gallon of ginger mint lemonade. Steak shawarma +$25, gyro +$20
  • Prices are from our in-store menu and can change.

Graduation party food that is not another tray of nuggets

Grad parties run long and people graze. Mediterranean food is built for that. Hummus and dips sit happily on a table, wraps are easy to grab with one hand, and a bowl bar lets guests come back for round two.

Tawook, by the way, is chicken marinated and grilled, Lebanese style. Toum is our whipped garlic sauce. Put both in front of a crowd of graduates and watch them disappear.

Birthdays and family gatherings

For a smaller birthday at home, one or two Family Feast Meals might be all you need. For a backyard full of cousins, a bowl bar plus Party Trays covers everyone. Add falafel for the vegetarians and you are done.

Want dessert handled? Our honey walnut baklava is a crowd favorite. Ask about it when you reach out.

Tips for planning the party food

We grew up in a family that loves a party. A few habits help every time.

Set a rough headcount early, even if it moves. It is easier to adjust a plan than build one at the last minute. Count the kids, but count the teenagers twice.

Mix hot and cold. Chicken shawarma, tawook and rice next to hummus, salads and pita gives guests choices and keeps the table looking full all afternoon.

Plan for the vegetarians and the spice lovers. Falafel and roasted veg for one, harissa and spicy feta for the other. Keep the spicy stuff on the side so grandma does not get surprised.

Do not forget drinks. The Family Feast Meal comes with a half gallon of our ginger mint lemonade, and you can add more half gallons at $8.50 each. Prices are from our in-store menu and can change.
